Hoosier Industrial Chemicals LLC combines experience with extensive chemical resources serving various industries, such as power plants, steel mills, coal mines, wastewater treatment plants, industrial farms, and others.  Most industrial processes produce water pollutants; with additional treatment, this wastewater can be reused as reclaimed water.

Carbide Lime, or Calcium Hydroxide has a pH of approximately 12.45 at 70 degrees F.  It is an excellent acid neutralizer for sulfuric acid and other acidic biproducts.  Calcium Hydroxide also neutralizes and precipitates heavy metals found in various wastewater to accommodate variations in water chemistry needs and respective changes in water effluent requirements, whether through coagulation or flocculation along with many metals and suspended solids.

We have custom blends that remove solids and heavy metals, while other blends can neutralize highly acidic runoff.  The combination of the runoff and the chemical blend results in an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle.
